Chocolate is overrated
I don’t get why people love chocolate so much. It’s just…blah. Milk chocolate is pretty good, but if I’m craving dessert I’d much rather have a slice of cheesecake or a bowl of vanilla ice cream.
And here’s the weird thing. People who say they “love chocolate” usually don’t. They just like all the crap they add to it—milk, sugar, etc. Pure cocoa is bitter and nasty. It’s like saying “I love lemons!” just because you love Sprite and 7-Up. No, you don’t love lemons. You love soda.
I’ve never understood either how people get what they call “chocolate cravings.” A craving…like you’re addicted to the stuff? Like you’re not just hungry; you actually specifically can only be satisfied by chocolate, as opposed to any other type of dessert or sweet? That’s weird.
And don’t even get me started on dark chocolate. 🤢 If I wanted to eat something bitter, I’d just drink spoiled milk.
