My son once asked for olong tea and they gave his a cup of hot water with a Lipton tea bag in it.
They charged me three bucks for something I could of made for less than five cents at home.

@Adrift Ouch! 😳
I know it’s not the same but was the sugar on the table?
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@NoGamesTolerated Yes, but it is hard to dissolve sugar into a cold drink.

@ProfessorPlum77 I know. Usually up north, folks do not serve sweet tea. It’s a southern thing for the biggest part. Anyway, that’s been my experience. 🙂

@NoGamesTolerated Sweet tea is a staple here.

They probably don't even know what sweet tea IS. They probably assume that you can add sugar packets to their normal hot tea...not realizing, that sweet tea is a whole different thing.

@4meAndyou Their sweet tea is pretty good.
