It is for me.

It's never stopped being a thing. It's available in every supermarket I've ever visited, even in Norway.
It's still around, but in the US it is mostly replaced by bad european cheeses in the supermarkets I've been to, especially Stilton- Stilton cheese isn't that old of a cheese and it sucks.
A few years back, prior to Covid we had a larger supply of American blue cheese in my region but they went away. Now you can only buy the overpriced imported eurocrap.
I do watch cheese making videos. But at this point if I was to buy a bug hunk of cheese since blue cheese is gone, I would just head out to Amish Country and buy some smoked cheese, like Smoked Gouda or Smoked Cheddar, or Munster. From Sugar Creek or Able, Ohio.
But I don't want to go into Ohio so might have to find a Pennslyvania Amish cheese place.

@Elessar It's overpriced eurocrap, whenever we have same types of cheese, it is not only cheaper but better. And the US isn't lacking for cheese, we build a government owned mountain purely for cheese storage (it's now rented out by private cheese companies).
Amish in Ohio just don't make alot of blue cheese. Only other ethnic/religious group making cheese around here are the Hare Krishnans and it is horrible. They uniquely managed to dodge all contact with amish and mennonite cheese makers to make a sub par cheese. I know they will figure it out someday, but it isn't today.
I'm tempted to go out and buy some cheese on my day off tomorrow.

@Motzu Are you kidding me, when I visited the US on two separate occasions I thought the US cheese was the worst I have ever had, the chocolate is no better either.
@Justenjoyit Chocolate is different. We make it different here that the types in europe. As to Cheese in America, we have more variations than any country in Europe. And we should, we are massive. Only country in europe that might have any bragging rights in the netherlands over its cheese access, but not its overall quality.
It is with me!!!

Can't eat it as I'm pregnant now.
Hopefully I'll be able to start the new year with a better diet, slowly introducing some of the old foods I love.
