Back when I was married the kid up the street would shoot squirrels and bring them down to us.
He would bag four or five every couple days.
I got so sick of skinning squirrels. LOL
They are really one of the hardest animals I have skinned.

@Dainbramadge cut right under the tail put your foot on the tail, hold the feet pull up. skin comes right off,

@Dainbramadge another way make a cut across back. with both hands pull the skin off it comes off in two pieces,, ate a lot of them when a kid,

But cutting between the legs like a rabbit but standing on the tail sounds perfect.
The part I was having so much trouble with was nothing to hold onto when trying to pull the skin off. LOL
I was skinning them like you would a deer. LOL

@Dainbramadge you cut under the tail. the tail bone also. just leave the skin ,it takes a while to get the hang of it,
