Can anyone pls tell me what did I do wrong here and what can I do to fix it? The cookie was supposed to be soft and chewy but it became soft and crumbly instead. Has a wierd aftertaste and the inside looks like dark yellow.
Too much baking soda? Too much egg yolk? Hmmm 🤔

Looks like the dough is still a little too wet going in. The cakey texture is coming from the evaporating moisture forming bubbles as it cooks. Also, make sure they cool almost completely before trying to move them.
