Has anyone baked a panettone?

Are they easy to bake and have you got a good recipe?

Waitrose dova packet mix one every year for about £4 or 25p after Christmas. I have only used those and they turned out very good. Otherwise I think they are quite fiddly.

@Justenjoyit I'm sure other shops do it as well as waitrose, but only around Xmas time.
