All pubs have bars, but not all bars are pubs. A pub refers to an establishment that serves alcoholic beverages, but also hosts other amenities such as food, music, games, etc. Some can even serve as stores, post offices, etc. Most places referred to as bars are technically pubs, but a true bar in the sense of being a bar and nothing else is a place that only serves alcohol. Nightclubs are a whole different thing altogether, with most being venues that emphasize on drinking and dancing. A nightclub could be referred to as a bar since most have one, but not all of them do. In which case, they would simply be a nightclub or a dance club.
