They are three different things! A Bar is just that...a long bar where they serve drinks. Usually a small establishment with only a few tables.
A pub is English or Irish themed here in the United States, and the decor and music are usually reminiscent of pubs in England and Ireland. Pubs are usually small.
A night club is a much larger venue with a dance floor, a stage for the band or DJ, and lots of tables. The bar in a night club is usually huge...double sided.
