Why does vodka go with everything

Like seriously you mix vodka with everything, Kool aid apple juice, orange juice, Pepsi, water, gravy it's so diverse

@Sidewinder I was saying that surprisingly enough you can mix it with a bunch of things too. I like cranberry and bourbon
