@JohnnyNoir I'm glad to hear it. I think alcohol freezes you in time and if/when you sober up, you'll be right back where you were trying to escape from.

@Mamapolo2016 its just a temporary fix that only masks the underlying issue

@JohnnyNoir Yep.

Yeah.. I've heard that one before.. But it reaches the point where you are anxious about drinking..😷

I know the feeling but it isn’t a long term solution.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
Slippery slope. My dad drank to cure anxiety and ended up being an alcoholic.

Can't last long that way, I'm afraid

Not a cure. You are dependent with a substance abuse issue. Too young to avoid real healing. Two cents' worth…

What's your choice of beverage?
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@DavidT8899 Coffee, Tea or Coca Cola. By choice. But I have a family member who doesnt have a choice..😷

I guess that could work if you keep alcohol on you always and stay under the influence constantly.
That's a pretty novel idea. You may be on to something.

Yes people shouldn't have to self medicate with alcohol, the u.s. healthcare system is a joke

Sounds like it’s already an issue pretty soon it’s going to turn into a big problem. You might want to stop.

I hope your liver agrees.
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@Dino11 I have a feeling that it won't .
