You're not wrong about the price of the steak. I've got one in the freezer that is just a bit smaller than that and it IS indeed a little under 20 dollars.

It does rather speak volumes.. Doesnt it? Now you wouldnt get the potato for US hours minimum wage. Once you throw in all the extras.😷.

Luxuries today are cheaper than ever. Dollar for dollar, entertainment is cheaper than ever. It's the things people need to live that are more expensive than before.

Also, the fact that real whole food costs that much and processed convenience foods are cheaper than ever is why do many of us are fat and sick all the time

That's why it's called the good old days. We need a whole new type of "loud" voices and opinions. It seems the loudest are still greedy bullies who don't care about the well being of the community but the perception and garnering of extreme wealth. It's always existed, but now that's all that's in power.
