I knew someone who killed and ate one while out camping and said it was hard to eat because you have to pick out a ton of bones.

@Adrift Like a fish!

@Bumbles Yeah, I dont like to eat fish for that reason.

The time I ate rattlesnake, it had so much sauce on it that I barely tasted the meat.

Tough as a shoe. Ate it.......tastes OK.......but wow is it tough.
Bumbles · 56-60, M
@anythingoes477 Eesh, how was it prepared?

One wonders at the food reviewer's diet...

I had it once. It was a matter of sucking scant meat off of copious bones.

Tasty, but a light appetizer at best.

@DrWatson “a light appetizer.” Ha!

What do you know? Turns out you can order from Amazon, or pick it up in person from the Hunan market. What could go wrong?
Bumbles · 56-60, M
@Northwest “wet” market if you’re lucky.

I would rather kill a snake for food than a cow. Cows are so cute and lovable.

@Softandsweet2 Squid Ink pasta with mushrooms and diced fresh tomatoes and garlic/olive oil/lemon sauce.
Softandsweet2 · 36-40, F
@Northwest I’ve never heard of squid ink pasta (I assume it’s just dark) but anything with garlic and mushrooms has got to be good.

Yes :-)

You don't even have to make it from scratch. I used to buy it on Amazon, until I discovered it was less expensive at the World Market up the street from where I live, and for the same brand. And yes, it will be a dark greenish color.
