There's a Wiener, a Hamburger, a Frankfurter, but there is no "Londoner". I wonder what a Londoner would be like?
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
@helenS it would be shaped like Big Ben 😂

@supersnipe oooh that sounds good I'm trying to picture it whether it's like a kabob or a corndog

There you go! (Whatever that is in Serbo-Croat). These ended up more like logs than sticks 😋

Personally I'd thank them for the Wiener Schnitzel and the wines.

I had a wonderful weiner last night LOL. :P It was mild in flavor, not too salty. I rarely eat them so it was nice. Side of baked beans too. Hip Hip Hooray for the weiner!!! hahahah 🤣

Hamburgers were named after the city of Hamburg, but during World War 2, were renamed Liberty Steaks and Salisbury Steaks by the United States and United Kingdom respectively, so as not to associate it with German culture at the time.
@Sidewinder Kind of the way "Freedom Fries" appeared when we were mad at France, eh ?

@bijouxbroussard 🤔... The thought had occurred to me.
