If you spilled a drink by accident in a public place would you clean it yourself or tell somebody who works there or "leave it" there?

It depends on the circumstances, but I would want to make an effort at least. The staff would need to make sure it was cleaned thoroughly and left in a safe and hygienic condition for others.

Oh, come on Freddie! Live a little bit larger than that, for goodness sake!

Just step in the spilt drink, throw yourself to the floor and then sue the owners for a cash payout in small bills.

Oh! Bad back and bad knees? That's even better! Now you have proof of what happened to you after you stepped in the spilt drink and then went hurtling across the floor, landing between some woman's legs as you looked straight up her skirt as she called your lawyer at your request!
