Mine did for sure. grey steaks, veggies boiled til they looked partly digested.

Now I can make mine as bloody as I want.

For my Dad, yes -- he liked his steaks well-done.
The only thing "rare" is how often I eat red meat, but when I do, hamburgers or steaks, I prefer them well-done.
@ChipmunkErnie I suppose so. It’s the way I always had it cooked at home—but well-done can be cooked so that it’s still tender. My best friend likes her steak rare, and I remember her brothers teasing her that she ate steak "the way white people prepare it". 🤭

@bijouxbroussard I like them medium or even rare now, but growing up my Dad always had to have meat well-done. Even if he ordered a filet mignon at a restaurant, he'd ask for it toe be "butterflied" so it cooked all the way through. I'm not sure, but I think it might have been his Jewish upbringing?
