Neither....
I catch my own rainwater.
The tap water here is what they call "hard"
Hard water has high levels of dissolved minerals, mainly calcium and magnesium, picked up as water travels through rock like limestone, causing limescale buildup in pipes/appliances, making soap less effective, but also providing some essential minerals for health, with hardness measured by mineral concentration (mg/L). While it creates household cleaning challenges and potential appliance damage
Apart from the toilets and outside taps I run my entire house on rainwater.
