Have u ever been on food stamps before ?

I was on it back in 2020 during the pandemic. I have not been on it since then though.
Now that I think about it, I should have also filed for unemployment, too.
But I went back to work like 3 months after the pandemic started.
I just got tired of sitting at home and living in fear.
I believe a person should be on food stamp assistance if they really need it.
Dont you. I mean, I would rather you have an EBT card than for you to go out and rob someone.
But it seems that lately, peoples benefits have been cut off. The good news is that it is now back on.
But you will only get half of what you had before, just in time for the holidays.
Have you ever been on foodstamps before. 🤔

I just read that 20% of US medical students had food insecurity! They pay enormous tuitions and go deep in debt, and can't be sure when or where their next meal will be. No wonder they look for careers in fields that earn higher income rather than primary care where the need is greater.

@samueltyler2 Its better to join a trade school or go straight into a 2 year technical college.

@Zonuss i once actually worked out the math. A medical student eventually net worth will not likely surpass that of a licensed plumber or electrician until at least their mid-40s. I did that math though, when students loans were at believe percent and inflation was much lower than today.

@samueltyler2 Construction workers make more than most medical students.
And trust me we see them all the time here on the water.
They drive the most expensive trucks on the market. 🙂

@Zonuss sadly, I know. But, eventually I was able to save enough to have a nice retirement.
