I still want to help people.

Every month a leave a grocery bag full of food for homeless passerbys I do it once or twice a month. I am still concerned for them despite the EBT shut down. Even they deserve to eat something. I'm thinking of leaving them some peanut butter jars and a few canned items. Everyone deserves to eat.

You are one of the few, rare people who thinks of others, and you put your money where your thoughts are. I am sure your efforts are much appreciated by those who truly need some help.

If you leave canned items, be sure they have pull tab tops, because many homeless people don't have can openers.

When I worked at the homeless shelter in Kingston, many years ago, a man named Bob Romeo used to drive out in our van, and hand out sandwiches already made, and water, and blankets. He knew where the homeless men used to hang out.
