If somebody suddenly stopped drinking sodas after years of doing so would there be any withdrawals like with alcohol or drugs?

I don't remember having much issues when I stopped, but I drank coffee so I still got caffeine

I tried that once. I had some headaches and feeling tired but got over it quickly enough.

that was me, you get headaches. and now when I have one on occasion if I end up having two or three nearby it sets them off too
Yes there would much like an alcoholic and drug addict . It releases dopamine which is a receptor. Without it you would more than likely go into withdrawals

Yes... it's better to cut down rather than just going cold turkey.

If it was caffeinated soda they would probably get headaches. And maybe a bit of a sugar withdrawal
Billybob2 · 26-30, M
Maybe, I drink a lot.

A little bit, mostly just feel lousy.
Yes but i was on painkillers when i did it and it wasn't too bad. 25 years soda clean.
Light withdrawals nothing serious
