Warning for anyone who drinks tap water after ban in Europe

A French region has banned tap water amid warnings it could be a "warning" for the rest of Europe. 60,000 residents of Alsace, eastern France, have been told by the local government that it had found dangerously high levels of PFAs – or ‘forever chemicals’ – in the water.

Those in high-risk groups – under-twos, immunocompromised people, pregnant women – were advised not to drink water from the taps for the rest of year.
I think that we are at the start of the story,” says Séverine Maistre, who lives in Saint-Louis and who used to work in clinical drug trials. “Currently we are talking about peaks here and there … [But the chemicals] will be everywhere in France.

"It will be the same in Germany, in Switzerland, in the UK, and everywhere.” A 70-year-old woman said: "“Even if we are not fragile we are scared. We are terrorised – this is about water, without which we cannot live.”

We have the same problem in Northern California. I'm sure Bill gates was involved.

Gavin wants our Shasta water, decides to regulate it.

Bill Gates begins to invest in purified water plants to recycle water from showers. Toilets and other use.

@cherokeepatti I believe so

@FreestyleArt Watched one of Peter Santanello’s videos on You Tube about Trinity county a while back. He said it is the most conservative county in California and also the population of the entire county is 15,000. No wonder you don’t have many grocery stores there.

@cherokeepatti I remember going there years ago and yes. There's not a lot of infrastructures there....except corporate own.
fluoride was supposed to be good for dental.

dentist visits increased over the years..

food for thought...

When I was in Europe I was amazed at the bottled water area in grocery stores. Easily twice as big as here in the U.S.

Veolia Water ( French Owned ) is the largest waterworks system in the world

Perfluoroalkoxy alkanes ( Man Maded Chemical ) This chemical is used in
Pizza boxes
Microwave popcorn bags
Non-stick cookware
Water-resistant clothing
Stain-resistant carpets and furniture
Cleaning products
Paint, polish, and wax
Fire-fighting foam

PFAS get into drinking water when they percolate from soil to groundwater or surface water. PFAS are water soluble and are commonly found in water near facilities that manufacture or used to manufacture PFAS and products that contain PFAS. Also, many contaminated areas are near facilities that use PFAS fire-fighting foam for training, such as military bases, airports, and fire-fighting training centers. Lastly, PFAS can get into water when products that contain PFAS are tossed into landfills. As the products break down, PFAS linger in the soil and seep into nearby water sources.

The standards safe limit is 4 parts per trillion. Veolia and Culligan France treat all the drinking water in Alsace, France.

All PFAS are removed via Activated carbon filtration, Reverse osmosis & Ion exchange systems.

You know why tap water is banned in Europe because it’s not just Europe it’s everywhere, there’s bacteria you don’t know in it , and could infect people, or make them sick easily, even give cancer !!! It’s not cigarettes that’s giving people cancer, it’s the tap water

There are forever chemicals in all water. There is no such thing as safe drinking water, even the bottled water they are telling you to buy has forever chemicals in it.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Gibbon those are hard to remove, takes a special filter.
Gibbon · 70-79, M
@Thinkerbell yes. The well waters TDS greatly reduces the quantity of water the filter can treat. I would use it until it was 10x the TDS recommended to change with no notable taste or grit issues. I think they just want you to buy filters more frequently. I still use now and then if I can't get enough water especially to get through a stretch of bad weather that would keep us in.

@cherokeepatti The filter is very special and you pay for it.

Those are present in American water as well. So damned many chemicals being used and flushed down the sink and toilets these days is why.
