Change in dinner plans

One would think it would be easy to change your dinner plans but it's not. Today was our youngest boy day to pick. He asked for shepherds pie rolls and fruit salad.

As I said before I don't feel good at all and that meal is a lot of work to make. I texted Joel to see if he might be able to bring something one from the shop. He answered with sandwiches or coconut shrimp and rice. It would just need to be reheated. A fast simple meal.

My boy wouldn't care if we changed plans but it's my daughter I worry about. She's already made a change in her schedule even though it was her choice I just don't know if it would be a good idea to have something different.

Her schedule is so important to her and she doesn't handle charges well. I worry if I call or text her she will feel pressured to change because I asked her too. It seems so simple but it's so not

You guys can still have dinner together though right even though the menu is changing?

@AngelUnforgiven yes it's just the change that could be the issue. She was it on her calendar what we are planning on eating. So like I said I don't know how she would deal with another change in the day

@Cigarguy101 oh I see. It only leaves you with 3 choices

You tell her there's been a change of plans in the menu and hope for the best.

You muster up the strength to cook it as planned

Or you find a local restaurant that serves it and you order some for dinner.

Time is valuable the clock is ticking so either way you need to make a decision.

@AngelUnforgiven I am just going to suck it up and cook the meal. Their might be other changes in our plans so I don't want a repeat of a few weeks ago when she go overwhelmed and had a meltdown
