I've had milk 5 days past the best buy date, which tasted perfectly fresh and fine, and also I've poured out curdled milk two days BEFORE the best buy date. We just can't know if the milk we drink was always properly refrigerated before we bring it home.
@Ghostinthemachine Pour a tiny amount in a cup, and smell it. If it doesn't smell sour, it is probably perfectly fine as long as it has been kept very cold.
