To rinse or not to rinse

Do you put dishes with remnants of food still on it, or do a quick rinse with warm water?

I typically rinse most debris off first

I hardly ever use my dishwasher anymore but when I do I just scrape the food off

Why don't you use the dishwasher?

@swirlie because it would take a week to fill it up, I just wash them in the sink. When My son and his now fiancée lived here i used it every other day

A week to fill it up? A dishwasher doesn't fill up with water like a clothes washing machine, you know! 😂

All I could imagine is you opening the door of your dishwasher to add another plate when 40 gallons of water came flooding out onto the floor! 🚣🏼‍♀🌊

@FreeSpirit1 I stopped using mine, too. Living alone, I have few dishes,, and it takes so long.
