Well is it soda or pop?

@Lilnonames My youngest step sister's ex husband uses to deliver pepsi brand syrup tanks to restaurants all over north central iowa during the 80's, pop is the preferred phrase in this area, but his plant boss insisted that the drink industry calls it soda and would have a massive shit fit if him, his fellow drivers, or any plant employee called it pop. Coming from Oregon, I grew up calling it soda.
