The best hot chocolate I ever had was in Belgium. I now make it that way myself. Buy Belgian chocolates....chocolates wrapped in foil individually. They have a VERY low melting point. Heat milk and pour it in a cup....drop the chocolate in............or two if you want it richer......and stir until it melts. Ghirardelli melting chocolate wafers almost as good,

I make hot cocoa. I use a microwavable glass mug, and I put about 1/4 cup of water in the bottom, and microwave it for 1 minute. Then I add a heaping teaspoonful of cocoa power and a heaping teaspoonful of sweetener, and stir well. When the cocoa and sweetener have formed a loose paste, I add milk to the mug, stir well again, and then microwave for 2 minutes.

I just add instant coco powder to my hot coffee with milk.. but i don't have it often because of the sugar

I like it with made with milk. Its richer than just with water

With whole milk and too much chocolate mix and really hott! When the kids were little made a whole pan on the stove

1. Start with a heaping tablespoon of powder.
2. Scald a small saucepan of milk, pour into mug. (Making it with water is a cardinal sin.)

Drop in a stick of 70% dark chocolate.

Top with marshmallows and whipped cream

I like it hot and sweet

With milk instead of water. And hot not warm.

Grating unsweetened chocolate, adding milk and heating it till the chocolate melts, add a touch of sugar!
