A surprisingly good “I have basically nothing to eat” meal

Microwave Jasmine rice, butter, lemon pepper, crispy onion pieces

The crispy onion pieces I got at Trader Joe’s

Side note I never thought I’d meet such a great substitute for plain salt until I met lemon pepper. Kinda crazy the seasoning is such a recent invention

Sounds good, and veggie friendly.👍

I used to make jasmin rice with lemon pepper and onion that I panfried myself, when I didn't have much to eat. Now I do it a bit differently, I add sugar to the onion, panfry it as usual, and regular pepper + a little vinegar to the rice, then fry it all together. It's also really tasty. If you have an egg or two, eggs also tastes great with any rice. 😊

@Nightwings oooh that sounds awesome (well, minus the vinegar for me, heh)

Well, you should have a meal preparation plan each week so you never encounter this type of situation.

@MarkPaul nahhh I’m good, I can just eat this

@Zeuro My point is it's a sign of poor planning, lack of being organized, and poor eating habits.

My recent go to food when I don't feel like cooking a lot is quick mac and cheese with pepper flakes in it you know like hot pepper that you put on pizza
