This stuff is really good!

It has less sugar than the flavored oatmeal from the big companies.
The chili level is not overwhelming.
It cooks up nice and thick.
The combination of flavors is fantastic.
(It's also made from gluten-free oats, although that does not matter to me.)

Chocolate chili oatmeal. Gosh, Doc, I respect you immensely.

But …

Never seen that before. I dont care for regular oatmeal. Dont like the texture. But I make steel cut oats with double the water to make it smooth and creamy. I don't add sugar but add blueberries, banana and walnuts.

Now THAT is a flavor combo I would never think to try!

@4meAndyou The best hot chocolate I have ever had was in Spain. In Madrid, I saw "chocolaterias" instead of "cafeterias!"

@DrWatson Oh, the longing this provoked.

I love a nice creamy oatmeal. Not sure about this.
Very interesting ! Where can this be found ? 😃

@bijouxbroussard I found it in a regular grocery store in the hot cereal section. You could also order through their website: yishifoods.com.

As a diabetic, there's an awful lot of overlap with the gluten-free crowd, so that actually does make a positive difference for me.
I am so sick and tired of naturally gluten free foods being marketed as gluten free, like on a bottle of natural apple cider, no shit, Sherlock 🙄

@NativePortlander1970 I saw a gluten-free steak the other day. 😆
