Yes, I love Sunday roast. I’ll cook it later and have a glass or two of wine as well. Life’s too short not to do these things after all 😊

I have an old friend (from whom I was estranged for many years) coming for lunch. An old-fashioned menu, with a few twists. King Prawn & Smoked Salmon Cocktail, bound with mayo, ketchup, sweet chilli and horseradish sauce - and garnished with my new invention, smoked salmon dust!
Roast chicken, roasties, roast parsnips marinated in sesame oil and Himalayan pink salt; carrots, French beans and steamed broccoli. To finish: strawberry pavlova - the meringues left over from a recent buffet I catered! 🤗
