Fast food has been expensive for years and years and I hardly ever eat it. A good diner or counter burger is about the same price and way more satisfying.

I only ever eat Fast food like McDonalds occasionally on road trips as a treat.

@MethDozer I can't ever imagine thinking of McDonald's as a treat. For me, it's more like a punishment.

@LordShadowfire I like a McChicken or Filet-o-Fish occasionally. Even a dollar menu cheeseburger is good if you don't eat them often.

@MethDozer I feel like the only thing I really look forward to on their menu is the fries. They do something different with them.

The other thing I'll do is kind of off menu. A McChicken and a McDouble, take off the bottom bun of each, and smush them together. That's the only thing I would consider still somewhat of a treat there.
