@HoraceGreenley I worked an All Star street hoop game in Harlem a few years back. They served us fried chicken, watermelon, grits, corn bread and collard greens for dinner.

Everything was great except for the collard greens which are vile.

All the soda they had was oozing with diabetic levels of sugar, but they did have bottled water

It was on yhe site of the Polo Grounds. It was also about 98 degrees out but they had some fantastic players. T'was a very cool gig 😎

@Howudoin I think it really depends upon what you like to eat.

IHOP is ok for a few things, but I don't get it. Waffle House I like, for certain things. Bob Evans strikes me as lots of fatty foods, much like Cracker Barrel (but not as loud--by design!--as the latter, and without a busperson dropping a load of dishes & silverware every few minutes).

In the Midwest, it's my impression that Bob Evans' high point was akin to that of, say Long John Silver's and Big Boy.

@SomeMichGuy I'm likely on your page, I don't eat at any of the places you mentioned. I just can't. Nope. I plan to live well beyond 50

Making a lot of those dishes at home, you can use less sugar, less salt, less fat, and hang on to your arteries, heart, etc., bit longer!
