Your body absorbs as much as it can from what you eat and processes it accordingly. Now, more often than not if you eat something with 50g of protein, one person might only get 40g worth, one might get 49g, one might only get 30g. That is individual differences, digestion, and health though.

@SatanBurger It's one of those not-so-common sense things people don't think about. Same with calories and vitamins really.
