Floor ?
I wonder if they meant "Doorstep" ?
In the UK a Doorstep sandwich is what we used to call a well filled sandwich with thick cut bread slices.

Is this real? Someone actually came up with such elaborate packaging for this? It would seem that they expected floor-dropped sandwiches to be routine!

No. I can make a sandwich, drop it on my own floor (which I clean) and it would look better. But I guess someone starving would not be as picky.
