Does turkey really taste different from duck and chicken? Tbh, I can't tell the difference of the latter two.

How so?

I only had duck one time, but what I liked about it was the duck skin. I thought it was far better than chicken skin.

(Writing that seemed really weird)

They all taste different from each other and honestly, I like to cover it up with seasoning. But even the taste of chicken may vary depending on what they feed it with. Sometimes the smell and taste is pretty nasty, like grain fodder.

Turkey meat (I only had breasts though) is usually harder, chewier and dry. And taste is faint, it often reminds me of some artificial substance that you just chew on and wonder if it actually has any nutrients. :D

We prepare duck very differently so I can't even compare it that well. But well-prepared seasoned duck breasts with crispy baked skin are amazing.

If you cannot tell the difference between Duck and chicken. I don't think you'd enjoy turkey that much.
Yeah. It's a strong flavor, especially the dark meat. Nice, but distinct from duck/goose, entirely diffrent from chicken.
Need to try wild Turkey and duck. Much better flavor, and smoked wild Turkey 🤤

I've never had duck, but it does taste kind of different from chicken

That felt like reading someone saying apples taste the same as pears.

Duck is just very distinctive to me. The meat flavor and texture are very different. Even their eggs have a different flavor and smell. Turkey is closer to chicken in flavor if you ask me. I still a taste a difference but it isn't as pronounced as duck and chicken are.

Duck tastes like shit. Dark red meat.

Turkey and chicken are white meat. Chicken is more moist. Turkey has a different smell and taste than Chicken. A lot different I think

i can distinguish the taste of all three. The white and dark meat of all three are also distinguishable.
Turkey has more of a simple taste but delicious when cooked right.
Chocked and dick are sweeter to me.
