If you got kids that are about 8 years or older than they really enjoy doing this. It's easy and teaches basics of cooking to them. They will have a lot of fun. But obviously always use adult supervision. I learned the recipe from a Sunday school teacher.

@IndianaJoes there’s lots of different things to use for pizza crust. Pita bread is good too
@cherokeepatti I have tried those and they are very good

@IndianaJoes I used to teach my son how to make french bread pizzas...same idea. Easy and quick!

@4meAndyou We made biscuit dough pizzas in 9th grade Home Ec classes. Good for a snack for teens when they are at home and craving something like pizza.
@4meAndyou yes and I like to make strombolis from French bread. Here is what I do and I learned it from a pizza shop that I worked at when I was young. You take a whole pound of sage flavored sausage. Cook it into two narrow and long sausage patties. (Shaped to fit the bread) Cut the 12-in long French bread in half. Smear some pizza sauce on the French breads and brown them a little bit in the oven. And put some mushrooms and shredded mozzarella cheese on it. I like to put the mozzarella cheese on the sausage patties right after they're done cooking so it will melt. This is a lot less messy than crumbling up the sausage into pieces and instead just making two sausage patties the shape of the French breads. It also gets you maximum sausage. Lol I'm sure it's not healthy but it sure does taste good.
@cherokeepatti oh yeah there's all kinds of cool things you can do with biscuit dough too. Yummy yummy yummy I got love in my tummy and you can see it too because it sticks out a little bit.

@IndianaJoes I used to pop out a circle in the middle of canned biscuits and let them sit out awhile to warm up and then fry them for donuts and donut holes. I made a powdered sugar & vanilla glaze and glazed them. I liked them better than store bought because I always use fresh cooking oil. Can’t have gluten now so haven’t made them in a long time. Can also make little circles with a small pill bottle and use them for making dumplings in chicken & dumplings.
