I went to a Starbucks

In this branch they have a sign stating that 99% of their coffee is ethically sourced.

Am i weird for thinking that therefore 1% of their coffee is unethically sourced, perhaps grown with slave labour or stolen from subsistence farmers? 🤣🤣

I doubt that they have any real way of verifying their claim.

But in any case, I haven't been to a Starbucks in years.
I don't care for their burnt coffee or their overpriced pastries.

@Thinkerbell I haven't been to a Starbucks in years either and I agree that their coffee is burnt (and bitter). I think it is so the coffee can stand up to the sugar and flavoring junk people want in it. I drink black coffee.

Once I tasted *real* coffee, I never went back to Starbucks. In fact, if I drink it now, I pull a face. It tastes so bitter and awful. @Thinkerbell

@Thinkerbell I guess it depends on where you live,though it's not my place to ask where that is exactly.Have you ever heard of a convenience store chain called Wawa?(it's named after the Native American word for goose.)They are a regional chain that exists in a relatively small block of states on the East Coast.They make the best coffee ever,bar none,at least as far as I've experienced.
