I would give anything if I could have fresh popcorn, popped from the stove. I can't have it anymore. It is the most wonderful taste and it was quite obvious when they started popping corn in the theater, with artificial butter. Yuck! That was terrible and there's no substitute for the real thing.

Extra butter

I air pop in my special air pop microwave popcorn popper. I don't use those bags...ever. Air popping saves on whatever oil you would normally add to pop on the stove top, and you can then add butter to the popcorn.

Make it on the stove. Plain or with butter.

Stovetop is the besttop.

Stovetop with a little oil and salt is 👌
But it's also a little more effort than I'm normally willing to put in for popcorn
