@MoonlightLullaby yep......if they are cooked right they are very good!! Yes, I said 🐌's!! 😋
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Chicken feet if they are cooked right. Very tasty and healthy too due to the high amount of collagen in them. I like collard greens, pickled beets, smoked herring, slow-cooked beef tongue made into sandwiches, and eggplant.
Repete · 61-69, M
Smoked herring , yum I use to go right to the smokehouse and get them. @cherokeepatti

@BizSuitStacy what about dog/ cat meat
Indieoriginal · 61-69, M
@MonaReeves86 I actually ate cat a few times, didn't know it until later on. Those were some tasty tamales, though.
BizSuitStacy · M
@MonaReeves86 No...I couldn't knowingly eat dog or cat.

I ate tripe as a kid. Chicken giblet soup was a favorite. Spaghetti with anchovy sauce. Rabbit stew sometimes
Repete · 61-69, M
You hit on one thing that I have no interest in trying, tripe. Rabbit is great even though I haven’t had it for awhile.@LunarOrbit

Hah.....well, let's consider the American hot dog.......ground up bovine lips and o-rings. Flavors may vary by feed lot.😁
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Freeranger they call them “sausages” in other countries and make recipes with them
I love blood and blood sausage!
I think the foods that I refuse to eat are horses, bears or monkey brains….those stuff

No. I am very pedestrian.
MonaReeves86 · 36-40, F
@Carissimi yes I don’t know
MonaReeves86 · 36-40, F
@Carissimi if you knew what it was you would explain it to me

If I didn’t know the meaning, I wouldn’t have used the word. I obviously don’t mean someone walking, but the other meaning of the word ... uninspiring, dull etc. @MonaReeves86 In other words, I stick to plain and simple foods. Nothing exotic, or out of the ordinary.
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
I like Duck Tongues and Feet considered weird in the West but not in China and the East 🙂🐼🥢

My dad use to eat pickled pigs feet. I’ve tried them like a lot of things I have eaten they are good but not something I would make a special trip to the store to pick up.
Canned herring use to be great when they was little sardines, now they pack big fish in and still call them sardines.@Azlotto
