Some folks ruin perfectly good coffee by putting cinnamon in it.

Almost everything that has sweetness in it goes well with cinnamon. I mean even though it's naturally sweet cinnamon helps to lower blood sugar which is great.

@SW-User I don't know if it's a north African thing but I remember when I traveled to Egypt being nearly omnipresent on desserts. Kind of like vanilla is here, I suppose. I wasn't used to it and I remember it felt a little bit weird lol

It doesn't have to be shoved into everything but yeah here it's commonly used in desserts + savory-sweet tajines like lamb with prunes.

I make meatballs with rice, minced onion, salt, pepper and a liberal amount of cinnamon and cook them in tomato soup.

On toast, bagels, applesauce, pies, cakes, coffee cake, streusel, doughnuts, etc.

Pairing cinnamon with savory foods is tricky. You could have pork chops with cinnamon applesauce, and it would probably be okay.

You can make a rice custard with cinnamon and apples, also...or cinnamon with poached pears.
