That looks awesome, and I think I would swap the bread for a bagel, but that's just me.
My favorite sandwich is a cheese steak served French Dip style.
Hoagie Roll, halved and hollowed, toasted
Good beef, I usually use the chain, which is a trim from a whole tenderloin
My homemade stock
Onions
Bell red and yellow peppers
InstaPot used as a pressure cooker
Meat and peppers made crispy on the flat top griddle after the pressure cook
Build the sandwich, add gruyere
Broil for melty cheese
The juice from the pressure cooker served on the side for dipping
I'll try to dig up a picture. Fuck, I'm hungry now.

@RosaMarie God that sounds good and like you take your sandwich very seriously, I like it.
I used to always get a panini for this salmon etc filling but one time I didn't have one and now I like it on standard sliced bread just as much if not more. Bagel would work great too.
