A bit of a rant on wasting food!

Please people, don't just throw perfectly good food away. Most especially when it's very expensive perfectly good food and still well within expiration dates!

Two and a half pounds of Ribeye steak at 11 US dollar a pound! Sell price 27.5! 😒

I don't care if you're rich or poor! Throwing away something like that is pure waste!

I always buy & make just enough for a meal. I always think of the Hunger Games & how people were starving..

@DropTopDig I have no problem with buying a lot of food. For instance the tilapia expiration date if frozen was Mar 2023! And it was frozen!

That was pure waste! I couldn't carry all of it!

I would love to have red snapper even once a month! I can't afford it even once a year! 😒

@DeWayfarer I realize that.😕 There's a super market named "Mega Food" where we buy Salmon and Tuna once in a while. The cheapest prices around, but I forget what it is per pound now?🤔When we buy the salmon we cut it in half and can share it for a couple of days. The tuna has 4 or 5 pieces in it.
