@smiler2012 I may try that I don't know how good I'll do as an American
samueltyler280-89, M
@anxietyme as an American?
anxietymeF
@samueltyler2 well, I've never cooked a full English breakfast before being an American so, I'm not sure how well it'll turn out
samueltyler280-89, M
@anxietyme I guess I missed something then. Are you in England?
anxietymeF
@samueltyler2 no, I live in America, but I do like English culture and watch a lot of documentaries pertaining to England.This particular one was exceedingly boring about how the full English breakfast came about.
samueltyler280-89, M
@anxietyme so nothing related to the job interview?
anxietymeF
@samueltyler2 No,but being unemployed and bored I was watching things like The History of a Full English Breakfast and realized that if I sunk this low in my entertainment choices it's better I get the job and get back to work soon. 馃槀
samueltyler280-89, M
@anxietyme did you have a covid-job loss?
anxietymeF
@samueltyler2 No, I was working in a different town.
I got remarried and moved to another town.
Had lots of money saved up, but now it's starting to dwindle,so, it's time to go back, well that and the boredom.
I should mention, because some people might think me a liar,I remarried my ex. Long story.
samueltyler280-89, M
@anxietyme still married?
anxietymeF
samueltyler280-89, M
@anxietyme is he working?
anxietymeF
@samueltyler2 oh yes, he has a full-time job.
I'm just starting to get bored and want to contribute to the household
samueltyler280-89, M
@anxietyme very nice. So he has been working all through covid? I retired in 2016, but sheltering in place is very trying.
anxietymeF
@samueltyler2 He works in a nursing home so,there's always a job there if you want it.
The job I'm trying to get is an employment coach for the developmentally disabled
samueltyler280-89, M
@anxietyme has he been vaccinated? That is a high risk occupation. Did his home have many illnesses?
anxietymeF
@samueltyler2 I believe they only had two cases of covid and it was the employees not the residents and he gets tested every Monday for covid they are very careful with their precautions.
Our state is having hard time getting the vaccinations and many people are waiting for a one-step vaccination.
samueltyler280-89, M
@anxietyme I know, it is like range war. What state are you in? Would you prefer this conversation stay here?
anxietymeF
@samueltyler2 I would prefer it to stay here publicly, thanks for asking.
I'm in the midwest.
To be honest seeing the problem some people have had with the vaccinations,the two-step process, I mean, I'd like to wait until they have a one step in place and to see how other people react first.
I'm not really sure how vaccinations work,other than prevention,but they were telling people to get one even if they already had covid and I was wondering if it would have any effect if you already had the virus?
samueltyler280-89, M
@anxietyme I dont really understand the push to immunize those who had proven covid. It is probably out of lack of data as to the longevity of immunity from the disease. So out of an abundance of safety, the vaccine is suggested. The second dose is the one which got us badly.
anxietymeF
@samueltyler2 I know that ,probably, a lot of the people don't react badly to the vaccination, but I'm not sure I want to be the one who does.
samueltyler280-89, M
@anxietyme most people I know started getting sick about 6-8 hours after the immunization. And it lasted 12-15 hours. Headache, vomiting, fever. Far milder than the disease.
RaineF
@samueltyler2 many have had it and never been tested. I know of a few, including a heart surgeon, who definitely had it, yet when tested his result was negative. I had it in December 2019, as did most of the team I work closely with. None of us knew of the virus then, so had a few days in bed and returned to work.

@samueltyler2
I had a nephew who got covid very lightly and it was about that mild, but you never know, my brother in law's brother died from it.
