What food or drink reminds you of your childhood?

TV dinners that came frozen in aluminum containers that had to go into the oven for at least a half hour! No microwave ovens then.

Roast chicken dinner and ribena

"Koetjesrepen", literally cow bars. It's a cheap imitation of chocolate (cocoa fantasy).
My favorite grandmother used to give them to us whenever we visited her.

Peanut butter and bacon sandwiches.

One of the few things I liked that I was allowed to eat.

Boiled peanuts and cheerwine floats.

Chocolate Buttons

V8 juice. We used have fun throwing the can around before drinking it because the can said shake. And I love tomato juice.

Home brewed sweetened iced tea and peanut butter and banana sandwiches..for two.

Those strawberry marshmallow things you could get from the convenience store.

Egg and chips, bananas and custard, Vimto.
