I live by myself and don't have any romantic partner so I'd have to get up, cook or make breakfast and coffee, then go back to bed to eat it. There's nothing romantic about that.

If I was allowed to have my 3 y/o daughter stay overnight I might make breakfast for both of us as a treat for her and have it in bed if there was a way to make that workable.

ps. I sometimes have baked beans on toast for breakfast.

pps. the 'other sort' of 'breakfast in bed' is something I've never had for a lot of years. ;-)

I've never understood it either except for the ill or injured, and then the very ill usually aren't hungry.

I don't, but more importantly, who has beans for breakfast?

The only time I'd even consider it is right before changing the sheets. But even then I prefer a stable surface for my plate and body.
