Boy am I an idiot. I put my jiaozi in the steamer, filled it with water, and set the timer, but never plugged it in.

And then somehow didn't realize something was wrong when I couldn't hear the water boiling even ten minutes later.

What’s jiaozi??
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@BlueRain Jiaozi are a type of vegetable dumplings that are popular in China, especially the northern provinces. They're made from thin dough that's filled with various veggies like bean sprouts, carrots, and cabbage. They're most often steamed but you can also eat them pan fried or boiled. The pan fried variety are most popular in Japan.
