Yes, I've had them. They are supposed to be healthy, and people who want to lose weight can eat them instead of potato chips.

Unfortunately, the woman who served them to me in my church group drenched them with oil, negating the healthy effects.

There is an olive oil cooking spray that can be used instead, and the kale chips made with the cooking spray are not so greasy.

@4meAndyou Grapeseed, Safflower and Sunflower oils set me on fire. I felt like I was burning around my internal organs, no lie...got a bad feeling like I could die. Stopped with those oil and healed up. Cashew milk has also done that to me.

@cherokeepatti You have a super sensitive system. But we both like avocado oil, and we know it won't kill us.

@4meAndyou I used to be able to cook with sunflower oil in my 20’s, it was sold in grocery stores back then almost all the stores. Fried potatoes tasted really good cooked in sunflower oil. Sucks not to be able to use it. Avocados are supposed to be healing for the thyroid gland.

I’ve made them a few times. I can make a batch out of an entire bunch of kale and they are gone a lot quicker than the time it took me to make them. Kind of addictive.

@Stereoguy homemade would probably be better since packaged stuff with oils tend to go stale quickly. But they do leave a bit of an aftertaste. Still can’t stop eating them when I make them, very light texture.
