Why are mustard packets sooo much harder to open than ketchup packets?

It doesn’t even matter what brand of mustard vs. what brand of ketchup, mustard is always harder to open. If you don’t believe me try it. I asked this at lunch yesterday and my friends just ignored me.

Reminds me of a funny prank when I was growing up...tape a ketchup packet to the bottom of your shoe then yell "mouse!" and stomp...the look of disgust on people's faces was priceless😄.
