What is loch
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@pride49 It's the Scottish word for the English term 'lake'.
pride49 · 31-35, M
@helensusanswift yes I drank the crap outta the water...lake? At Boston. Tasty cause..Boston tea party? Idk lol now I wanna play assassins creed
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@pride49 Ah the famous Boston Tea Party when a bunch of thuggish terrorists stole a legitimate cargo and threw it in the harbour, thus impoverishing the shipmaster and his crew. Heroes all, no doubt.
pride49 · 31-35, M
@helensusanswift heh. They should teach that version in school lol
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@pride49 Different side of the same coin. It is always the innocent who suffer in any war or confrontation, and the ones who make the most noise that the historians write about. King Geordie gets a bad press when his ministers made the decision, the lads who died in the Boston Massacre were deliberately taunting a small party of soldiers, Washington applied to Britain to get his 'property' - his slaves- back - British ships impoverished the New England states in the War of 1812 when they snapped up 90% of the shipping, and so on.
War is sordid for everybody except arms manufacturers, uniform makers and historians.

@helensusanswift you're..so much smarter than me lol
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@pride49 Oh no I'm not. I know a wee bit about history - you will know a great deal more about other things.
pride49 · 31-35, M
@helensusanswift like, yeah not sure bout that. I did like history though. Super strict teacher. Had us memorize the preamble of the constitution or she's fail us. Awesome class
helensusanswift · 26-30, F
@pride49 There you go then: I have no idea about that!
KingKripple · 61-69, M
@pride49 You know all about the Boston Tea Party but you didn't know what a loch was? You do surprise me.
pride49 · 31-35, M
@KingKripple eh. Just the stuff I learned in high school
KingKripple · 61-69, M
@pride49 You learned about the Boston Tea Party in high school, but not that Alex Harvey was Scottish?

KingKripple · 61-69, M
