How long should I boil pasta for to make it very soft?
For some reason, I can’t find this info online. I just got wisdom teeth out and it needs to be very soft. How many minutes until I should start testing it do you think?

@ShaythePanTransMan If you need it soft, which must only be days, wisdom teeth, let it cook for another minute or two after you find it first sticks if you are an attentive cook.

@lovelywarpedlemon Then I’ll make the noodles later. Ugh that sucks.... Thank you. The procedure went perfectly and it seems to be going well. I don’t taste any blood and only had to use gauze for a few hours and the pain isn’t terrible even if I’m not on the pain medication.
@ShaythePanTransMan It gets interesting rinsing the holes with a saline syringe lmao. it's not bad after the first couple of days.

Spaghetti, el dente is about 9 minutes ... if it's spaghetti add about two minutes, for that matter for any pasta add about two minutes from suggested cooking time if you need it soft. For the really longer cooking times maybe add 3 minutes

It will say on the side of the box and time varies based on brand and shape of it.
