How long should I boil pasta for to make it very soft?

For some reason, I can’t find this info online. I just got wisdom teeth out and it needs to be very soft. How many minutes until I should start testing it do you think?

I would only eat liquid foods for the first couple of days

@lovelywarpedlemon ahh but we actually don’t own any so yeah
I asked Mom if she could get me soup and she didn’t.
@ShaythePanTransMan make a smoothie with milk and bananas or suck down a poached egg. Just make sure no food gets in the holes the first couple of days or you risk infection

@lovelywarpedlemon Be sure to gargle with salt water for a week before bed time. Its not Pleasant but you don’t want infection.

@lovelywarpedlemon ew :( what about mashed potatoes we have that?
@Gamalon oh god they gave me a lot of meds: amoxicillin 3 times a day, oxycodone every 6 hours for pain, salt water 3 to 4 times a day, and this chlorhexidine rinse twice a day.
@ShaythePanTransMan lol yes, the potatoes would be better than noodles probably. They gave me Vicodin which did nothing but make me nauseous. I was on the couch for a few days. Hope you have a quick and easy recovery

@lovelywarpedlemon Then I’ll make the noodles later. Ugh that sucks.... Thank you. The procedure went perfectly and it seems to be going well. I don’t taste any blood and only had to use gauze for a few hours and the pain isn’t terrible even if I’m not on the pain medication.
@ShaythePanTransMan It gets interesting rinsing the holes with a saline syringe lmao. it's not bad after the first couple of days.
