I like waffles okay, but in that choice for me it's pancakes. However, my absolute favorite is French toast (I'll take that over pancakes and waffles any given time😋).

Waffles are ok with ice cream as a dessert but I would never choose them over a sundae or brownies!

I assume you mean as breakfast food as that's what they seem to be in the US? Neither have really been adopted in the UK.

I love the way butter melts into the pancake giving it that nice salty taste mixed with the sweet of warm syrup. But then I sometimes like the little pockets that waffles have that contain the butter and syrup mix and the pleasant crunch of a nicely cooked waffle.

I guess I like biscuits and gravy the most! lol 🤗

Waffles...but when I have to do it myself...I go for pancake...becoz there is instant pancake...i can use instant pancake to cook. I think there is no instant waffles....never heard of it....

Pancakes because there so many different options and it’s hard to mess them up but with waffles if you cook them too long they get hard and when your butter them and put syrup on them all the butter runs off
